Picked this one up for 99 cents in the bargain bin at Sam's Blue Light; I didn't have very high expectations. Popped the cap and the wonderful aroma of ass immediately flowed out. Poured a clear golden color with almost no head. Still more ass on the nose. The taste, however, thoroughly belies the smell and appearance. Sweet malt, nicely balanced by some mild hoppy notes. Nice creamy mouthfeel. If you can get past the nose (or, more likely, get a fresher bottle than I did), this is a pretty good beer.

Pours a pale golden straw color with a foamy white head that fades into a soapy lace. Nose is heavy on the skunknot much else is noticeable. Once you get past the smell, it improves. Some sweetness in the taste up front nicely balanced by the following bitter hops. Not much character, though. Your basic green-bottle (skunked) German lager.

This is a typical Euro lager with a skunky "green bottle" aroma and strong Saaz hops element. The brew is quite attractive being clear golden and topped by a head that is just one shade off of white. The head is huge and actually retains quite well. There is also a decent lace effect from this Pilsener style beer.
The nose, as noted, starts skunky, but is really typical of the Saaz hops strain. Though light, the nose is quite typical of the breed and not bad overall. The body is fairly thin, but not watery, so the overall effect is also typical of the style. Good drinkability, though not the "best of breed."

A beer that poured a medium sized white head with no lacing. The carbonation was quite lively in this beer. The body was clear with a pale yellow hue. The aroma was pretty typical of a Lager. It was somewhat of a smooth drink from start to finish in my opinion with a light and watery palate. This beer did not have much character to it.

This brew poured a small head of fine white bubbles and a carbonated transparent straw wheat yellow body. It had a hoppy and a medium strength lager flavor of malt and hops. It was slightly bitter initially and with a lingering hop finished.
