Orange-brown hazy color. Relatively dark foam, good compactness.
In the smell: spices! Cinnamon and ginger over all, with hints of anise and pepper. Obviously there is also a good malt to hold up all, and a bit of hop.
The taste: on the malt carpet, the spices rise up: ginger and cinnamon over all. Even some fruitiness (banana?), and also the hop. Though the dominant spices, this beer is balnced and inviting.
The aftertaste has again the spices, and hop, but the general balanceness permits a good drinkability.
Quite long aftertaste.
