Vieux Montréal blonde ale: Bought a 6 packs for 6,99$
Look: Light golden color, clear appearance, medium carbonation.
Smell: fruity and grainy aroma.
Taste: Grainy, fruity, about the same as the smell.
Feel: Light to medium body. Refreshing. Even on the aftertaste, the graininess is still there but it is not harsh .
So overall would I recommend it? Sure, I mean for the price you can

From a 355ml can. Paid $7.00 Canadian for 6 cans (cheap!) 4.9 % alc.
Looks like a typical commercial ale. Golden straw with a thin white head. Lacing gives up after a few minutes.
There is a faint aroma of grain.
Taste fresh with a bit of sourness. Not much hops.
A light and thirst quenching ale. Goes down easy. Pleasant enough but a bit boring. For the price I cant complain.

Too light for my tastes, though it is superior in comparison to coors light, michelob ultra, et. al.

Poured from a 355ml. can.
Appearance: A nice healthy white head that goes away pretty fast and not much lacing is left. Body is light gold.
Smell: Smells like fruit a bit but main aroma is stale and off-putting, reminding me of something rotten?
Taste: Some mineral graininess and light fruit. Alright but far from enjoyable.
Mouthfeel: Clammy overall with a bit of smoothness but again, not much to like.
Overall: Too bad Old Montreal's name is plastered on this unmemorable beer.

bottle:
clear light gold color, weak industrial style cap, heavily carbonated.
grainy aroma light fruit tones and a chemical sulphurous twang to it..commercial smelling much like the old Dow ale
Tastes pretty much the way it smells, grainy (fresh) but with a sourish malty-cider taste, dry spritzy finish.
Weak mouth feel, thin, sour, spritzy...like Dow or Okeefe ale or any number of industrial ales that infected Montreal taverns in the 60s-70s...why go out of your way to recreate a style/taste that was never really good to begin with and is still all too common?
