Golden and honey cloudy, topped with 2 fingers of off white head. Looking closely, there is a sand storm of particles swirling within, an equal combination of small bubbles and yeast flakes. Looks like golden glitter swirling around in a snow globe.
Smells of yeast, salt water brine, and a hint of coriander, making me think of a Gose.
Very light malts, hints of coriander and malt, perhaps a touch of brine, a light lemon juice note, but overall, very light.
Light tasting, with moderate carbonation.
Got in Perth, Australia, drinking this one in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Very good brew. Not often I can get my hands on this style. Enjoying it Oct 4th, 2017.

First of all this bottle is a bit old and nearing expiry.
Looks and pours a slightly cloudy yellow, fizzy with big bubbles. Head takes a while to dissipate. So far so good.
Smells sweet, fruity, candy flavours in taste and aftertaste. Not a bad tasting beer but the problem is, the mouthfeel is a letdown. It is surprisingly flat, and it could be due to the age of the bottle.

Very pale opaque yellow. The smell reminds of a landbier, tartness and acidic with hints of apples and grapefruit. The taste is similar maybe a bit more malty. Pleasant fizzy carbonation and medium mouthfeel. Nothing special but very refreshing. Could easily be a go to beer over summer.

Pale yellow pour with no head and low carbonation. Malt, grapefruit and slightly earthy aroma. Slight citrus and malt flavour, crisp but not much to it.

Format: Standard 330 ml brown bottle poured cold in to Pilsner glass.
Look: A cloudy golden with a finger of foamy head that didn't last long but settled a lacy off white ring around the glass.
No visible carbonation but a lot of particles floating around. It is a living beer, after all so that's to be expected.
Smell: Straight away Its gives a beautiful strong fruity sweet, smell. Peach stands out above anything else.
Taste: as above. The palette immediately gets the sweet peachy flavor with a very subtle almost malty after taste replaced by the slight bitterness of hops. Not overpowering and quite enjoyable.
Feel: Her the invisible carbonation comes to life with a seltzer like sensation that lasts for quite a while. Not too heavy and not to light. Very smooth.
Overall: This was a nice beer to drink. There's nothing overpowering about it but it isn't lackluster either. Well balanced is the best way to describe it.
Ill buy it again.
Well done, Mountain Goat.

Cloudy, head bursts quickly but is replaced.
Pleasant citrus aroma is overwhelmed by suplhur, very little malt character.
Some pleasant ester and hop flavour, but isnt balanced well with an over carbonated under bodied beer. Blood navel orange taste and aroma (seems over ripe with excess sulphur). Although could lend itself to a few if the sulphur wasnt so evident.

Format: standard 330mL solid brown bottle, standard Mountain Goat-esque craft label.
Appearance: a pale, lightly hazy yellow with a thin white head that drops to a film. Looks okay.
Aroma: heavy malts with an odd smoky aroma. Some fruits behind - tropical and stone fruits.
Taste: a little awkward here too, but not terribly so. That smoke flavour with malts and not much of the fruits.
Aftertaste: some bitterness on the finish with the smoke fading away. The stone fruits make a bit of a comeback, which is nice.
Mouth feel: this beer is medium in body with a moderate carbonation that brings the flavours forward. Quite refreshing too - a pretty good feel.
Overall: I'm normally a fan of Mountain Goat beers, but have to admit that this one was a bit disappointing. Not awful by any means, just a bit of an awkward flavour profile. I certainly wouldn't recommend it at AU$69 a case.
