C-hop led with vague citrus. Sticky. 2-row pale malt. Balanced but a bit generic in flavour.
Drinkable and fairly refreshing. Not mind-blowing.

Pours a hazy deep orange-ish color with an off white head. In the aroma, a mellow pine hop and notes of citrus. In the taste, a nice hop presence, with a subtle malt balance. A small hop bite and a medium to lighter bodied mouthfeel, with a dry mellow hop and malt balance in the aftertaste. Enjoyable, nice hops and balance across the board.

Light gold, quite cloudy. Fruity nose, I get the passionfruit too. Friendly structure in the mouth - good fizz levels, not much malt or sweetness, medium bitterness. A vey clean tasting style that is very refreshing but lacks a little character. Good for what it is.

ale light golden pure white head. This doesnt look like the other Pale Ales I have drunk so I didnt know what toexpect.
This beer smelt great to me. Orange peeldominated.
The taste and mouth feel are unexpected It has a real fruity/citrus quality toit that was cleansing and stimulating .It lacked a definitive finish which was my only criticism.

Firstly, there is a reason why it is smart to put best before and/or bottled dates on the bottle. This beer (and the next 2) poured with a ridiculous amount of head, more than half the glass and it didn't subside. No sediment in the bottle? A very clear pale piss yellow. The aroma is of faint chalky hops. Way too much carbonation gives off nothing but prickliness that deprives any other flavours of getting through. This sucks. Mountain Goat, you owe me twenty bucks. Put dates on your bottles!!

Pale amber pour, small head.
German (noble) hops instantly noticeable in the grassy and floral notes, nice and subtle overall though, not overwhelming. Some clean malt in the background. Very nice.
More grassy hops upon tasting, not quite my thing usually, but it mixes in with a fair bit of sweet malt to make a nice mildly refreshing beer. Finishes with a prominent but easy-going bitterness.
Moderately light body and carbonation, works well.

Pours a golden urine colour with a slight haze and sparse bead through the beer. Pillowy white head sinks to leave an uneven rim of lace but not huge amounts. Looks alright, pretty standard though.
OK, here we go. Nose is extremely floral and pleasant. A lot of tangy hops releasing aromas of citrus, pineapple sherbet and cumin. A lot of sweet fruit on it, candied orange peel, lemon air freshener, oh it's so lovely and blossoming. It's like stepping outside on the first day of spring and finding everything suddenly in bloom. Not joking - if Heaven has a smell, this is it. I could smell that all day.
...and a slight letdown on the first taste. For one, the texture is very smooth and foamy with very little carbonation zest. It's not a bad mouthfeel, but totally inappropriate for the style. Taste is pleasant enough, with a biscuity malt underlying a fairly fruity palate, hints of lemon and orange before a resiny hop thump at the back. Hops definitely don't work their way in subtly, but just flop onto the palate like a not-quite-dead escargot. Front palate is quite floral and pleasant but there is a very antiseptic bitterness as an afterthought, which is a letdown from the truly superlative job they've done here with aroma hops.
A pleasant drop, not as refreshing or clean as it could have been. Seriously, I'd happily just sit with a glass of this, sniff it to high heaven and then chuck it. I look forward to Mountain Goat releasing the powdered narcotic version of this.

Dusty, golden to yellow in colour. A little hazy even more so with the yeast included. Forms a pretty low head which disapates fast leaving a thin layer of foam. Little lacing.
Moderatley low floral hop aroama, a little hint of spicy hops, white wine, banana, subtle pale malts.
Picks up a bit in the flavour. Clean fresh moderate hop flavour and bitetrness. Spicy, earthen hops flavours, parsley, morphs to produce a well developed grassy bitterness. A little malt sweetness balances out. Biscutty malt flavours, grain husks, a chared wood background, apple skins. Not bad a little bit harsh but tasty.
High, fine carbonation, smooths out fast and lets the flavours play their part. Very slight alcohol warmth.
A tasty drop, covers the style pretty well.

Kind of the opposite of their Hightale Ale - it doesn't look or smell amazing, but presents in all other areas.
The pour reveals a hazey golden body, with soapy head that dissipates with no lacing.
The smell is vague and lacking, but there's some soft light fruit and hopp notes which is quite pleasant.
The taste is spicey and smooth, even if a little watery. Honey stands out, but there's also a slight bitterness, paired with a mild citrus undertone.
The mouthfeel is perfectly suited with low to medium carbonation, and makes this a pleasure to drink.
Definately a great session beer, and one I'd buy again!

A hazy light straw colour with a massive fluffy head that never ends. In fact, I found it very difficult to pour properly due to its excessive carbonation. There is a nice orange oil aroma and hoppy floral character evident (is it hallertau?). Maltiness is light and there's not much character on the mid palate. I like the length of hop and the complexity of hop character; passionfruit, grapefruit, floral notes which give a lovely balanced bitter finish but there's not enough in the middle to hold this together. It's not a bad beer just flawed. Too much carbonation spoils this too as its a bit fizzy. I found it pretty drinkable but expensive. I drank a Little Creatures after this and the comparison was remarkable. Critters is perfectly balanced and an awesome pale ale. MG is nice and floral but a bit empty.

A - Pale straw colour with a large white head that hangs around for a fair while.
S - Herbal, floral hoppiness dominates the smell.
T - The herb smell comes through on the taste as well but with a bit more spice than floral. Very light malty taste is there but could be a bit more evident.
M - Medium mouthfeel with a bitter finish.
D - Refreshing beer that is decent enough but could be better.

Pale yellow, slight haze, almost Wit-like. White rocky head. Looks good.
Perfumy hops.... fruity notes of green grapes, blackcurrants.
Flavours of papaya & nut... soapy perfume, berry fruits. But behind it all there is a papery note of oxidation.
Nice mouthfeel...full, and with medium bitterness.
A very fruity experience....almost perfumy, soapy, bubblegummy.
