Just found my notes for this. Drank it about 6 months ago.
It poured dark golden colour, slightly cloudy, with a good white head that had good retention.
Lots of resinous hop aromas on the nose.
On the palate it was all about the tropical fruit. Some maltiness.
Medium bodied with a high carbonation.

Popped into the Mountain Goat Brewery on a warm and humid evening, hoping to try their Fancy Pants amber ale, but it wasn't on tap today. So instead I opted for the Riwaka, a one-off small batch of an "NZ style Pale Ale".
A - Very nice even pale amber colour with good depth. Good head on pour, which mostly didn't last too long, but left just enough of a thin layer.
S - Soft smell, light malt aroma, not too much else.
T - The Mountain Goat tasting notes say "Vienna and Munich malts give it biscuity and toasty characters and Riwaka flowers add citrusy, marmalade-y aromas." I caught the citrus and marmalade, but couldn't really find the biscuity/toasty characters.
M - Medium body, low carbination, soft bitter touch, holds well in the mouth.
D - Definitely easy to drink and would have been quite happy to have a few more, but time and money prevented me from making it a session.

Apparently brewed with 100% Riwaka hops from New Zealand. Hence the name I guess. APA is the closest style here on BA.
A - Slightly hazy orange with a 2cm white head that falls to a thin whisp. Bit of lacing down the glass.
S - Light citrus fruit hop notes with a light bready malt aroma.
T - Citrus hops also in the taste with more bready maltiness.
M - Fairly light bodied, medium carbonation. Touch of bitterness.
D - A nice enough beer. Nothing to get too excited about but a fairly sessionable APA.
