Insanely tart, there's a ton going on, lots of herbal notes, with fruity hints and sour lemon peel. Difficult to decipher everything that's in there, but it was quite enjoyable. The sour notes really linger on the palette, so you have to know what you're getting into with this one. Overall pretty tasty.

Before reviewing this I will state that sour is a flavor that really does not bother me and if it bothers you, you wont like this.
Appearance - poured into a beaus pint glass, this beer pours a slightly cloudy orangish gold. 2 fingers of beautiful head that dies down in a couple minutes. carbonation seems strong,
Aroma - bready malt, honey, orange, kiwi, floral smells, spices. sour berries.
Taste - Orange, extremely sour berries, kiwi, roase hip zest, some spices, a little grain.
Feel - Medium body very sweet and sour. Carbonation is creamy.
Overall - This is a very odd beer, It doesn't have any particular "beer flavors" in the classical sense. If you dont like fruit you wont like this, if you dont like sour you wont like this. Going into it with this mindset, as a beverage I quite like it and its a very lively drink. cheers!

Nice looking light amber, taste like flower and herbs, very different taste than other beers. Drink with a nice salad, nuts and floral cheese.

So I thought I'd pick this up since I absolutely loved Beau's Bogwater. I figured that another fruit from Beau's couldn't be bad. Boy was I wrong. The smell was the first warning. It was odd to say the least. It almost smelled like the one time I failed at making a homemade non-alcoholic ginger beer. It had light, syrupy texture with a sweetness not unlike a cider. It wasn't undrinkable, I didn't pour it out, but I instantly knew I would be unlikely to ever get this again. But as I was drinking it and trying to place it exactly what it tasted like, I had a thought that it sort of tasted like Kombucha. Now, it had been a couple years since I had tried Kombucha and I wasn't in a rush to try it again so I wasn't so sure. It was only when a friend tried it and immediately thought it tasted like Kombucha were my suspicions confirmed. So that's probably the best way to describe this. It tastes like kombucha. If that's your jam, go for it (you weirdo), but if not I'd advise giving this one a wide berth. 2/5 since I think they were successful in what they were trying to do, just what they were trying to wasn't to my taste.

I am generally a fan of Beau's brews but not this. Pinkish amber hue, very flowery and lemony overtones, light persistent carbonation, very sweet. More a mead than a beer beer. Well crafted but not something I would not buy again nor recommend to someone.

Bottle: Poured an amber color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and some light lacing. Aroma of light tart notes with some herbal notes also discernable. Taste is a mix of herbal notes, light grainy notes with light fruity and tart notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Interesting beer with quite the complex mix while keeping some pretty good balance.

Poured from a bomber into a wine glass.
L- Very light amber with low clarity and not much head to speak of.
S- Sharp tannic tang from the elderberries, and hibiscus too. There's honey here, and definitely pilsner malt-- I may even detect some DMS.
T- Honey, with herbs and some acidity. Really mild. Disappointingly so.
F- light prickle of carbonation. Medium body. Not heavy, but not as light as the light flavor demands.
O- I like Beaus, and i love Margaret Atwood, but I'm not big on this beer.
