Wag the Wolf is a weissbier (wheat beer) that has been generously “late-addition” hopped with organic New Zealand varieties to provide abundant aromas of citrus and tropical fruit. Fermented with a traditional Hefeweizen yeast, expect pleasant fruit and spice flavours with a restrained bitterness on the finish.

Look: Semi opaque light yellow colour. Pours with a frothy 2 finger white head. The head slowly disapates and is still a 1/4 finger after 5 minutes.
Smell: Bright bubblegum and clove. Smells of banana and lemon as well.
Taste: Lemon and dry straw from the front sip till the middle. It finishes very earthy and mineral dankness.
Feel: It is very light and highly carbonated. Drinks like a mineralized seltzer water. Not a feel I want in a beer.
This is now billed a White IPA, possibly because IPA's are a more popular style at the LCBO, but it's still a Hef in all but name. It has an earthy dankness not usually tasted in a traditional Hef though. It earns a B

Pale yellow and cloudy color with an initial thick foam that recedes quickly. Taste is a combination of citrus (grapefruit), hops, and wheat. It becomes even more prominent when you let it sit in your mouth for a couple of seconds. Aroma is a mix of citrus (again, grapefruit) and wheat. I'd say this is fairly carbonated and bitter but also smooth. The wheat-IPA fusion makes for an interesting session.

Very pale coloured with a huge frothy head. This white IPA is wheaty and bitter at the same time, with hints of field berry. It proves to be a nice combination. Quite enjoyable.

Had on tap. Pours clear gold in color with minimal head. Taste is starfruit, lemon, grapefruit, and hay. Light bodied, bitter, with high carbonation. Makes for an above average, bitter sipper.

Pours misty pale gold with a big frothy head that quickly subsides leaving a finer more creamy head and good lacing. Aroma is flowery citrusy hop over tropical fruit. Flavour banana / kight clove - and fragrent floral citrus hops. Overall impact as expected - a late hopped and more heavily hopped Weizen.

Poured light golden with minimal head. Classic wheat beer smell and very good finish. Wheat beers arent my favourite but thus us a good one for summer for sure.
