600ml bottle

$5.25
The beer pours a hazed honey gold colour with a creamy white head. The aroma is yeast, citrus, tropical fruits, and grains. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is tropical fruit, citrus, spices, grains, and weak yeast notes.

A-Cloudy yellow with a hint of orange. White head dissipates quickly
S-Aroma is Columbus hops for me, dank and herbal and borderline fruit
M-A little peppery feel from the carbonation and yeast
T-Sweet upfront and then a smooth bitterness that lingers and remains for a while
O-I quite enjoyed this beer although maybe more of a west coast type IPA than a Belgian...

Beau's bottle with a cool B-Side/Gigantic label. Bottled 11/09/15.
Golden pale ale colour. Cloudy with visible yeast chunks floating around. A big, effervescent, Belgian-looking head that dissipates quickly. A little bit of lacing.
Fruity, slightly piny hops. Peppery yeast.
I fear the hops might have faded in this two-month-old bottle, but this is really harmonious-tasting beer with good balance between hops, malt, and the Belgian yeast esters.
Like a slightly effervescent American IPA. Pretty much what you'd expect.
A solid, well-executed example of the style. I definitely preferred this to most of the other Beau's beers I've tried, but it still seems a bit steep at $5.95 for a 600ml bottle when you could just as easily pick up something like Duvel Tripel Hop, Urthel Hop-It, or Houblon Chouffe.
