Enjoyed on-tap at Rhino's. A medium golden colour, with fair represenattion of white head and lace. Very good hop aroma. Average mouthfeel, easy drinking. Good bitterness, some citrus, it is some's IPA, good pale. best Beau I have tried.Drying finish.

Cask days 2009
A- Pours a pleasant orange with a thin white head.
S- Floral nose with that grapefruit citrus zest. A nice malt balance for a pale ale.
T- Ripe fruit, caramel tones, lasting bitter finish.
M- Smooth, fairly light and very drinkable.
D- I would go back for more of these.

Cask at Volo Cask Days 2009. Good work Lou and Ed.
Pours a pretty clear amber, dark yellow, medium sized white head forms, forms a solid layer, some lacing on the glass, looks pretty good.
Smell is a bit weak, good malty base, caramel and some biscuit, floral hops, a bit of citrus, pretty clean aroma but lacking in the hops department.
Taste is similar, definitely a good malt base but hopping is not up to par for an APA in my books, caramel and biscuit, good floral and a touch of citrus, not as bitter as it should be.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with low carbonation, a solid and drinkable pale ale but needs some hops in it.

A Canadian Amateur Brewing Association winner from the guys at Beershack, which was then brewed by Beau's and served on cask at Volo's 5th Annual Cask Days.
Pours a rich orange with a small head of off-white bubbles. The aroma places heavy emphasis on orange and grapefruit, but also contains some nice leafy notes and pale malt in the background. The flavour is pleasantly bitter, while staying within the style boundaries. The hops come through ith some citrus, pine and leafiness, while there's some lightly toasted malt in behind it. Medium mouthfeel and light carbonation is about spot on for a cask.
This is a nice all round offering and a very solid APA. More of our amateur brewers need to become professionals if they have recipes like these up their sleeves!
