On tap at the Rhino into a pint glass, this was listed at 5.9%ABV (different blend than originally done?).

Body is a filtered golden orange, with no head served on this pint. No lacing produced either. Nose has a general cracker/biscuit quality to it, slight smokiness/toastiness of the grains. Sweet caramel like notes as well, but the kolsch character is still present as well. Taste has more toasty and grainy bread notes, slight caramel, light spice and again a prevalent grainy kolsch character. Modest bitterness in the finish, medium-full body with a medium-low carbonation. Tasty and perhaps more than the sum of its parts (the kolsch in particular) - the sweetness helps make this quite nice and revisitable for a couple pints.

Interesting beer. I had this on tap and in a bottle right at the brewery.

This is a delicious mix of their popular beer, Lug Tread Laggerd Ale and their seasonal Bog Water.

These two beers alone have a lot of taste and different aromas but when you mix the two, it becomes a perfect beer. Not too bitter or too fruity.

The guy at the brewery told me that when they have a beer, they would usually mix the two together and this gave them the idea to bottle and sell.

Will get another one next winter.

An interesting take. A cloudy brown pour with a creamy eggshell cap. Belgian candy sugar aroma has spices, lemon, biscuit alongside floral hops. Sweet, fruity malts meet christmas cake spiciness, lemon, and biscuit, and a marked bitterness from the added LT. Creamy a la Bog Water, but with a sharp hoppy edge and lingering bitterness. Another winner from this talented brew house.

On tap at Volo. A lagerish beer with a kick of herbal tea/myrtle branch that gives it a little sourish spicey vegetable finish. The aroma doesn't bother me, it's like a soup. Orange body with an attractive crowning head that leaves lace. Natural carbonation. Decent drinkability.
