Bottle from the Greener Futures Project, bourbon barrel aged for 5 months. 600ml into a tulip.
Mahogany body, with a cream coloured head. Light retention but good lace. Nose has some bruised banana, caramel, apple cider, a touch of ethanol but oddly not a lot of barrel character. Taste has a greater sweet oak character, wheat, banana, caramel and more ethanol. Medium body and definitely a more weighty mouthfeel than anything else in the series thusfar. Carbonation outweighs everything in the series as well, in a good way. The best in the series, but that isn't saying a whole lot unfortunately.

One of the better from the signature series. Bourbon is significant and well integrated and made for a spicy mix with the basic base ingredients of bannanas and chocolate malt. Good drinkability. Yeasty, wheaty, above average mouthfeel.Dark brown with significant off-white head.

600ml Bottle
Appearance - Clear brown colour with a small size fizzy off-white coloured head. There isn't a whole lot of carbonation and there is some faint lacing. The head lasted for around 3 minutes.
Smell - Malts, banana, caramel, raisins
Taste & Mouth - There is a below average amount of carbonation and I can taste malts, caramel and some banana. There is also a touch of dark fruit and a little bit of booze. It ends with a banana and malty sweet aftertaste.
Overall - I really couldn't pick up on the barrel aging as much as I hoped. It's still a nice tasting beer and the alcohol provides a nice kick. If you like the original version, you'll really like this one.
