The colour is deep red, the liquid is clear. The large white head is very firm.
The smell is complex, raw and unruly. Fresh hoppy notes. Some dried flowers and phenolic notes of washing-powder. I like!
The taste is mellow and malty. Some aroma hops, some dry minerals. The aftertaste is quite light with some yeast, minerals and a touch of oil paint. Fresh clean hops in the finish.
The carbonation is light; the medium sized bubbles are fresh. The liquid is a bit dry.
The taste was a bit cowardly concerning the very complex and rough smell. Still a highly drinkable kellerbier.
