Eagle Valley Harvest pours a bright golden color with a nice sized lacing head. There is a bit of a offensive order, very crisp aroma. The taste is light, but flavorful, some notes of rye, very light and crisp, a bit of a soapy aftertaste. Nice body, lighter flavors. Overall a very okay beer, a bit unique with the rye flavors in a light beer.

This is a pre-prohibition style Pilsner, brewed with rye. Neither a traditional Pils or rye beer, but a unique beer entirely. After doing some googling, it appears these beers are contract brewed by Viking. Review from notes.
Deep gold color, fine lacing, ok retention. Bready all-malt aroma, a touch sweet and some complexity from the rye. Nice and full bodied, finishes clean with a malt dominant flavor. A nice balance of light sweetness and minor hop bitterness. Slightly fuller bodied, though I don't know if it falls in the abv range for the style (again non-traditional). Really enjoyed this beer, it was the standout of the 3 available.
