Very clear dark amber/red colour. The pour resulted in a very thin, off-white lace of head, though it did have moderate retention and stickage. Very light caramel in the aroma, with a slight graininess and little in the way of hops. The flavour was balanced towards malty sweetness, with little hop flavour and a very tame bitterness. The finish was off-dry and medium length. High carbonation accompanied by a moderately light body.
