Review from notes. Bought over the summer at Rock Bottom in Denver.
A&S: aroma is primarily of roasty elements to it. But as it warms you start getting more sweet tone along with some hints of bourbon. When swirled you also get some dark fruit and acidic aromas. Jet black beer. Creamy light brown head that has good retention.
T&M: very intense toffee sweetness upfront that fades smoothly into more roasty, toasty, bitter tones. Fully bodied, and very smooth and creamy.
Overall: I really like this beer. I tried a sample of their other porter I think it was called molly, and didn't like it nearly as much as this one. As a disclaimer, the beer was definitely their Baltic porter but it could have been under a similar but different name (same ABV though).
