Poured into 10oz goblet at location.
A. Dark brown, amber tint, no transparency (The room is dark this is what I get). No head. Pencil thin lacing.
S. Bourbon and oak. Very powerful this. Rye. Burnt sugar.
T. Sticky sweet and malty upfront. Toffee. Rye. Bourbon. Lots of bourbon. Oak. Thy rye lingers.
O. This is an outstanding effort by Rock Bottom. The flavors and the barrel meld nicely. A little boozy hot but subdued with the rye bitterness and malty sweetness. Damn good brew.

Rye wine aged in templeton whiskey barrels. Named after owner of templeton.
Pours a small tan head. Color is a dark brown.
Flavor profile: tons of barrel flavors and tons of rye. Huge notes of whiskey all throughout this beer. There is also notes of raisins and dark fruits. A lot of malts. Some chocolate and caramel. Molasses and plums. Red apples. Tons of flavor.
Mouthfeel: smooth and creamy. Very warming. Full bodied.
Overall, the best thing to come out of rock bottom. Absolutely incredible all around.
