Sampled at the Portland, Oregon, Rock Bottom.
Either I'm a lot more charitable than the previous reviewer, or Rock Bottom improved their recipe, because I liked this wheat beer. It was better than many of the other wheats I tried on my Oregon trip.
It is golden and cloudy with a very white head. It has a nice malt flavor, which is further complicated by the additions of ginger and coriander, though they must be added in small amounts because their flavors are merely minor to the overall taste.
Volksweizen has a crisp mouthfeel with a nice malt finish. This is an above-average Northwest wheat.

Rock Bottom, Portland OR - Medium gold color, slightly hazy. A light bodied hefeweizen, flavored with ginger and coriander. Light malts and hops. Spritzy. Mouthfeel is full and slightly carbonated. Finish is slightly malty. Can't taste coriander or ginger.
