Pours a pale, slightly hazy gold. Fairly thick head. Not really long-lasting, but has a thin lace covering until the end and leaves plenty of lace on the glass. Smell is very fruity, with horse-blankety notes atop a solid new-mown-hay base. It produces the image of riding a horse to the edge of an apple orchard and overlooking a newly reaped wheat field. Odd to get that much of a visual from the smell of a beer. Anyway, on to the taste... It has a very solid and malty wheat base. Very spicy, with hints of fruit. Slightly acidic. The aftertaste is especially fruity, with a flavor that is almost, but not quite like golden delicious apples. Bitterness is moderate, just enough to be a good thirst quencher. Mouthfeel is rather oily for such a light-bodied beer. Slightly rough on the tongue as well. This is a very drinkable brew that could get a guy in trouble, considering it's rather stacked in the ABV department. Another winner from my local RB. When they produce brews like this, I wonder how the other two chains in downtown Indy can survive...
