This beer was brewed by the Rock Bottom location in Long Beach.
Pours a clear dark orange-brown with a foamy tan head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Tiny streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of toasted malt, caramel, and nut aromas. Taste is much the same with malt, caramel, and nut flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of toast bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with tasty toast and nut flavors that make this one easy to drink.
