Had on tap at the Rock Bottom in San Diego.
Beer pours a dark brown/black with a good bit of dense, tan foam.
Beer smells of maltiness and chocolate.
Beer tastes the same. Very malty, and a bit of chocolate sweetness.
Mouthfeel was very dry and creamy throughout.

A - Poured a black color with a tan head that leaves lacing behind
S - Is of roasted malt that give off chocolate and some coffee scents
M - This beer has a creamy smooth body with light carbonation to it
D - This is a nice stout that I could session it's like a Guinness but with a better taste worth getting if your in town.

on nitro-tap at the brewpub in San Diego. pours opaque black with two fingers of creamy, dense tan head that has excellent retention and leaves moderate retention.
aroma is heavily roasted with light notes of chocolate vanilla and a bit of coffee. definitely an irish dry stout in the nose.
taste is light, with roasted malts up front and a real nutty character on the back end. for a nitro-tap, this is quite flavorful. the finish is flavorful and a bit creamy with residual nutty and rasted malt.
mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with a silky smooth texture and a rich and smooth finish of a mildly crisp nature.
drinkability is good. flavorful for a nitro-tap, with a great roasted character and lasting quality. solid irish dry stout. cheers!

This was a decent enough stout from the SD rock bottom. It was poured on nitro and so it was a nice black colour with a creamy white head. The aromas were subdued and were just a bit roasty and malty. The taste was also roasty and malty with nothing else going on. The mouthfeel was a bit watery for a stout and the drinkability was just OK. Not bad.
