This was decent red ale. The Beer poured a nice darkish red with a small tan head. Not a ton of lacing. Beer smelled of slightly roasted malt and some floral hop tones.
The taste was initially malty and sweet. However, the hops start to push in and you get some subtle citrus type tastes. I liked the balance of this beer. Beer turned a little sweeter as it warmed, but the hops never let it get out of whack.
The mouthfeel and drinkablity were both better than average.
