Appears Black with a typical ivory head from a nitro pour. Spotty lacing left around the glass.
Smell is of butterscotch and toffee atop a bed of mixed dark malt.
Taste is sweet and watery with a buttery toffee mixed with corn syrup taste.
Mouthfeel is sweet, lowly carbonated, mildly bitter, and dry.
Drinkability...one and done for me with this.

This years version doesn't have the tartness that last years had, and it's a less interesting because of that. It's a typical dry stout, cleanly done, with just a mild touch of dark malt acidity and an appropriate amount of roastiness (which is sometimes overdone). It's a touch more chocolatey than might be expected (as was last year's version), and that gives it a bit of uniqueness. Quite enjoyable!
