This one really didn't impress me. It was described as a german style pilsner, but came off a bit bland. Poured a pale golden yellow with a white head that quickly faded to leave behind nothing but a pale yellow fizzy liquid. Smell was muted, slightly grainy with a hint of some fruit, but very subtle. Taste was very dull and bland, nice carbonation and that was about all. Very thin and lacluster. Could be an easy water supplement on a hot day, overall I will pass.

This arrived with a big, fluffy, bone-white head. It evidenced NE-quality clarity in a medium-gold colored liquid. The nose had a good Saaz-hop bite to it. The mouthfeel was medium with a nice hop presence on the palate. The finish was pleasantly dry. It really worked for me.

From 2004 reviewed at wrong Rock Bottom:
Pilsner always found at our local Rock Bottom brewery. Light in color yet medium body. The hops are not too strong for a German Pilsener, so the drinkability is ranked higher in my book. There are just too many better choices at Rock Bottom that I would not suggest this one, however, it's worth ordering the flight of 7 for $4.50.

Aprearance is a golden clear hue with scant head, light lace and an ivory collar.
Aroma is a clean leafy grassy scent.
First swigs: Clean basic pils. Some gummy bear. Well built pilsner. No frills. Uses lager yeast to boot.
Perfectly easy drinkability.
Last swigs: A pilsner. Yes!
