Pours a cloudy medium to dark amber, topped with a puffy two finger tan head, leaves puffy webs of lacing.
Hoppy, raw leafy aroma, toasted malt backbone.
Hoppy, leafy taste, candy, tea, resin, pine and toast, nice hop flavor but the bitterness was too low for an APA.
Medium bodied, good drinkability.

Poured into a tasting glass from the tap.

The color is a cloudy orange with a slight yellow tint with a out-white head.

The smell is citrus fruits and a slight muted hops.

The taste is mixed with a bit of orange peel and some grapefruit. A little bit of hop flavor thrown in.

This is one of the better, lighter beers that I have had from Rock Bottom. I usually shoot for a more darker beer but I want to try all of what they had. This stood out as one of the better beers that I tasted.

Good all around beer, quite easy drinking.

Advertised on their board of brews above the bar as a dry-hopped APA, at about 5.5% abv.

This tapping is their late fall 2006 batch.

Presented in the Mug club 20 oz. glass. Cloudy amber colour with decent frothy head.

Smells of floral hops, and some citric fruits, most likely grapefruit.

The taste is hoppy, with a medium body. Bready malt flavours come in the back taste with fruit as well.

After initial hop bite the brew goes down nice and easy. The after taste can be a bit metallic, as with many of their brews, though nothing that would deter me from a second glass. Though, after a two 20 oz servings , I wouldn't want to be driving home.

Enjoyed at the brewpub, and the next day from a growler, this beer poured a cloudy golden amber with a bubbly foam that lessened but never disappeared. Strong citrus scent, grapefruit or orange rinds, very hoppy. The taste was much like the aroma, a strong, citrus, hop flavor with not too much bitterness, very smooth. Full bodied and slightly oily texture, one of the best I've had from them, really delicious.

Clear orange in color with a decent 1" head. Some light lacing developed through the drink. The aroma was lacking entirely, as some deep inhales produced barely a scent of malt or hops. The flavor was average as the malt levels were very tame, the bitterness was weaker than expected, and some mild citrus tones rounded it out. This just needed a little more kick.

The mouthfeel was smooth at the start. The finish was dry and slightly metallic. Light - medium in body. Not an overly exciting brew so the drinkablility score is down a notch.
