Served in a big mug at the brewery.
Appearance: Wonderful Guinness-like reverse cascade action on the pour, providing enough time for ponderence. Thick and creamy nougat-colored head topping a black with crimson highlighted body. Retained an everpresent cap of foam as expected from a nitro'ed stout. The specks and clumps of foam left on the glass weren't as thick as others I've seen, though.
Smell: Faint smells of chocolate and coffee. Slughtly more prominent roasted barley aromas.
Taste: Weak chocolate mixed with roasted malt flavors. Slightly bittersweet.
Mouthfeel: Creamy, as promised by the board, but still rather light in body.
Drinkability: Very sessionable given the ABV and general flavor. A good Guinness clone that, like a good cover band, improves on the original.
