Despite the name, I've learned it's actually a Dortmunder. The color had caught me off guard, it's still a Märzen type of copper. I also taste a bigger load of hops than in most German beers (but still a German hop profile). Hops nicely counterbalance the lager "dryness" that keeps this from tasting like another pale ale. I told my neophyte beer buddy, "This is what your normal beer might taste like if they didnt make it with rice and corn."

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
