I can't recommend this stout highly enough. The beer itself is obsidian in color, while the head has the color of a Dunkin Donuts medium regular and retains through the last sip. Ultra-creamy mouthfeel; coffee is evident with maybe a tinge of cardboard. Pretty dry finish. Worth making a special trip for; simply outstanding.

This is perfection. Todd was right about it being closer to Murphy's in comparison to other stouts of this style, thing is this one blows all of the other way. Gives me another reason to fall in love with Dry Irish Stouts again.

Now here's an interesting stout. "Stinson" is Scott Hutchinson's (head brewer) mother's maiden name. The beer is poured thru a very expensive piece of brewery equipment, a Cellar Stream. What this does is nitrogenates the beer in-line for a perfect pour every time.

This stout is black w/ a perfectly retained creamy coffee head. Light bodied, but even and firm. Caramel and coffee notes greet the nose. The beer is ultra-smooth with a milky/coffee character. Leans towards a Murphy's (sweet, less roasted), but much better. Background caramel, slight paper flavour. Spooky how drinkable this beer is.
