I'm a huge pumpkin beer fan, so I'm very eager to try this.
Pours a ruby brown in color with not much of a head on the pour. Smell is more vegetal than pumpkin. There is some pumpkin in the taste, but there is not your typical sweetness or spice in this beer. Decent medium mouthfeel. To be honest, this was a bit of a letdown, was hoping for more sweetness.

Appearance - a frothy but soon-thinned head sits atop a clouded amber beer.
Aroma - very good blend of pumpkin and spice. Just as it start to show a vegetal edge, the sweetness and pumpkin pie spices emerge and provide great balance.
Taste - starts off fairly plain, non-descript malt base. I'm initially underwhelmed. Things change quickly though, with pumpkin pie flavor, cinnamon, even a hint of bubble gum rushing forward. Following the swallow is a strong flavor of hops, spice, pepper, allspice or clove. Just gets better and better as it goes. Aftertaste lingers quite awhile, what a nice fall beer to have at the Rock.
Mouthfeel - average carbonation, moderately smooth, does what it should without getting in the way.
Drinkability - outstanding session beer, I'm getting my growler ready for this one. Full of flavor and seasonably perfect.
