Not a bad brew by any means. The beer pours a delightful yellow-gold with a nice head that quickly leaves, giving you easy access to the good stuff. However, the taste itself is a little . . . off.
Maibocks usually have some crazy esters goin' on balanced out by earthy hops but something went wrong here. There is the unmistakable taste of urine present in this beer. It is subtle, but very much present in a way I have not noticed in other Maibocks.
Despite that, this is *overall* a pretty decent brew. After the first few sips the alcohol warmth makes you forget the unfortunate mingling and you are left with a nice, clean beer. No muss, no fuss. A good beer to relax with.
