John the brewmaster unveiled this jewel last week (3/1/06) and sent out invitations to Mug Club members to attend the premier. Wow. This is one hefty brew. It pours the same translucent yellow as Lemon Meringue pie filling, and is as tasty. Aroma is floral and fruity with a hint of spice, initial taste is a soft, perfectly carbonated, velvety combination of Granny Smith apples, berries and citrus with some banana and cloves. The mouthfeel is smooth and carbonation is mild, the middle is tart, well balanced and spicy, the finish is clean and dry. Wish this one was available year 'round!
