This beer came a slightly translucent black with a little ring of tan head around the edge of my pint that left a few clumps of lace.
Smelled of smoky coffee, roasted oats and carrots with a slight pineapple sourness.
Tasted like big roasted oats and barley that fades into a coffee. The dynamics were neat, but the flavors werent all that. Finishes dry and bitter like the aftertaste coffee lends.
The mouth feel was light boded with a light carbonation that left my mouth a tiny bit sticky.
This ones just all right with me; its easy and honest.

Came with a really nice head. Dark as night like a stout should be.
Roastiness at the end of each sip. It was pleasant enough. But while it was colder (seemed to be pretty cold for cask, but maybe they got that wrong--don't think so, but possible) it had a lactic sort of taste upfront.
Mouthfeel is fine. Drinkability? If you let it warm, it's alright. If not, it will seem a bit off.
