If you get a chance to visit the Rock Bottom Restaurant in Colorado Springs, CO soon, you have got to try this! OMG! John Hanley is the brewmaster for Colorado, and he has outdone himself. Appearance is lovely copper, with tons of sticky, sweet foam. Aroma consists of a complex blend of brown sugar, malt and hops with a few fruity notes. Initial taste, is a brilliant balance of crystal malt sweetness that barely overcomes a massively dry hopped bitterness, and the two vie for dominance throughout the experience. The carbonation is just right, slightly prickly, and the middle peaks sweet/bitter and then decends to a crescendo finish that leaves a wonderful sassafras herbal nicely dry taste that says: "Please, sir, I want some more!"
