From notes. The beer came a light orange color with moderate haxe. There was one finger of very creamy and chunky head. I really liked the color on this one. The aroma was solid with moderate toasty notes and light caramel. There was a moderate earthy hop as well. I liked the earthy notes and how they interacted with the toastyness. Excelent. The flavor was definately grainy with a minimal caramel malt sweetness. The earthy hop came through well with a moderate bitterness hitting on the finish. This one really worked well for me with the flavor. Mouthfeel was light to moderate with a very solid carbonation behind it. Nothing heavy, but the carbonation really keeps it from being too easy to drink. I thought this was an excellent session beer. It was clean all around and the hop really lingered long enough.

A slightly hazy straw color with a nice, thick white head. It's a pretty beer. Smell is more on the malty side, with some bready and yeasty subtones. Taste is dry and a bit smokey. A bit of a bittering Fuggles hop bite at the end. It's a good example of the style, but it's not my favorite style.
