This cask milk stout was served in a half liter stein and it's ratio was 8% head, 84% beer/head, 8% beer after it was poured. It was amazing. After the settling had finished, a good 5 minutes later, it was about 10% creamy rootbeer float or cappuccino looking head. The frothy head I have ever seen this side of the Atlantic (the other of the Atlantic was Beamish in an Irish Pub) and an inch of head stayed the whole beer.

Smells of cold whipped coffee, sweet black licorice, bittersweet chocolate, Italian coffee with a slight smoke presence and some oak. WOW! The aroma was world class, really complex and delicious to the nasal passages.

The taste is much the same with all the aromatics in the taste. It was like drinking coffee with chocolate liquor added.

One of the creamiest beers I have ever tasted. The MF is butter, so silky and so smooth.

Not in the correct vessel, but ultra drinkable. A beautiful milk stout. One of the best I have ever tried. The cask definitely does it justice. It was like drinking ice cream, yeah, that good!

This poured mahogany/black with 1" of tan head. Head retentiom was very good & lacing was good

S: Chocolate & iron

T: Choclate, iron & slight fruittyness up front. A slight roasted grain edge in the middle, Finishes dry with a little lactose & coccoa sweetness

MF: Rich, creamy, medium bodied & perfect carbonation. Just enough malt heft to make this work

Drinks too easy, hope this finds a home here, easily the most drinkable beer I've had from here.
