The beer was served a rich clear amber with an off white diminishing head that left great lacing on the glass. The aroma was somewhat on the weak side. It presented some caramel malts and mild hops, but they were all under toned. The beer was really well balanced between the caramel malts and citrusy cascade hops. There was very low carbonation and the alcohol was well hidden, but this was still a very warming beer. For a beer this low in alcohol, it came off as a sipper much like a higher gravity beer. I must say I enjoyed this one.
