Question: why does the abbreviation for a word with one 'b' in it, have two 'b's in it?
Just one of those things, and something that has nothing to do with this beer...

Very clear, very light, a whispery pear-ish coloration, under a solid lovely white head.

Big fruit in the nose...pears, again, some citrus, apple, melon, ...but no, why not stop with pear, ...weird, but that's it...nice, though...

Taste: lightness and bareness reign high ...minimal finish, as well, and small texture, too...not enough smack on the lips, here....and hardly enough body.
pity, I'm not happy being unhappy with beers from here...gets dry a bit at the end. But the body is so slim, and the flavor so scant, it's very diappointing.

Needs more MORE, dammit!
Feels rushed, like a fill-in, ...ah, well...

Clear golden straw in color, frothy white cap. Light sweet grains in the aroma, light citrusy notes of ornage and lemon as well. Much the same in the taste except that the hops are a bit mustier and resinous. Orange and lemon zest, hints of grapefruit. Grainy aftertaste from the light malt. Average CO2 in the mouthfeel.

Overall: this is what I would think a "light" pale ale would be. The malt body is quite weak, but the tangy hops lingering made it OK in my book. This would be a good conversion beer for the average MBC drinker.
