Enjoyed a 13 oz snifter with lunch today for $6.50 at the Arrowhead Glendale AZ location on 9-14-18.
Beer was served golden orange with a nice white head initially.
Nose was candi sugar and bubblegum.
Taste was candi sugar and bubblegum along with some light pear. Hopping was adequate enough to balance things out.
Mouthfeel was heavier than usual for the style, moderately smooth.
Overall not a bad beer but in sampling US versions of this style this is a hard style to capture the essence of what the Belgians can do.
