The brewmaster's special when I visited-light copper in color with thin head and little to no hop or malt aroma.
The bartender explained to another patron that it tastes like Anchor Steam-well no. It wasn't as hoppy or malty as AS-and the mouthfeel was much thinner.
While not up to an AS in taste it was one of the better beers I tried during my visit.
