Pours a pale copper color with a white head. Not much lacing forms and the head isn't terribly long lasting. The nose brings some orange and other citrus as well as a bit of pine. Some pale malts in there as well. The taste is a bit loss hoppy with moderate orange notes and some lightly-sweet pale malt. The feel is pretty nice with lingering bitterness; the combination of the lighter flavors with good bitterness leads to a really nice level of drinkability.

On-tap at the Rock Bottom Brewery in Arlington VA. Chalkboard says keg was tapped three days ago. Perfect timing if you ask me. Poured into a pint glass.

Pours a beautiful deep amber color but an nice orange halo around the edges of the glass. Head is a nice off-white/tan that just hugs the glass.

Smells like citrus fruits, caramel, pine, and malts. A pleasant nose.

WOW! The hops balance is incredible! It's a perfect taste for a Pale Ale. They nailed this one! The hops break out at first then the malts take over and just balance everything out! A medium body weight and a nice crisp carbonation just make everything come together perfectly! My new favorite Pale Ale!

To summarize I will make it perfectly clear that I love this beer. And for $1.75 per pint at happy hour makes me very happy indeed! Will definitely be back for that!

Poured a deep yellow with a decent head. Aroma is of some hops with a hint of malt. Taste is a little weak on the hops and malt. SOme citrus hint in there. Mouthfeel is smooth and well crafted. The finish leaves a slight hop feeling. Decent pale ale but nothing to get excited about.

This pale ale pours a hazy-cloudy amber with an off-white head and good lacing. It has a aramel malt aroma, and a hint of pine and citrus hops. It is very hoppy overall, moderately bitter and acidic lasting flavor, caramel malt body. Medium bodied and fizzy, spicy palate.

Appearance is a coppery brown with excellent creamy, long lasting lace. Aroma is strong hops with a hint of malt. Initial taste is OMG hops! Wonderful! Perhaps too much for some, but this beer can stand up to Stone IPA, Boont, or Flying Doggie Style for hop content! Mouthfeel is smooth and well crafted. The finish leaves a delicate hop kiss on the palate. Worth a drive to Colorado to try!
