Appearance – Rich garnet color with a distinctive yellow one-finger head and light retention. Light lacing.

Smell – Wow, there’s a lot in this nose! Dark citrus scents abound complimented by spices, honey, cherry, nutty, malty and caramelly smells.

Taste – Very bready and spicy hops and toffee-caramel tastes. Substantially complex. Nothing noteworthy on the average finish.

Mouthfeel – Medium bodied and non-descript.

Drinkability – The taste didn’t keep up with the smell, and while I enjoyed this beer, I’ll not go out of my way to look for it again.

Dark brown in color. Nice malt sweetness to it with only a hint of hops. I searched for the nutty flavors, but only found hints of them.
