At 6% abv this a light doppelbock to me
Poured chestnut hued mahogany with 1/2" of tan head. Average head retention & lacing
S: Bready with some medicinal notes
T: Bready with chocolate notes up front. As this warms I pick up some minty & spruce type flavors. Finished with toasted malt & a bit of caramel
MF: Fairly chewy with a bit too much carbonation
Drank okay, but not quite enough body for me. Frankly, I was expecting more from this one
