This was somewhat of a suprise, since my ditzy waitress didn't tell me it was a chile beer
Poured brown/chestnut with a tight 1" cream colored head. Head retention was average & lacing was above average
S: Some chocolate & some chilles
T: Chocolate & toasted malt up front, then pow, green & ancho chilles hit the roof of your & mouth & tongue!. More inter play of chilles & cocoa as this warms. Finishes a little sweet & bready with chilles hanging on to end
MF: Rich & creamy. Medium bodied with great balance
This went down pretty easy, at first I found it a bit spicy & wouldn't minded some water go with it. About halfway through I acclimated to the heat. Nice one!
