I had this on tap at the Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery in King of Prussia, Pa.
Appearance: I would hardly say amber. A very dark body that is completely opaque. The head was a nice tan color, good size, decent retention, lacing was pretty good.
Smell: Like the board says, rich malt, I got loads of chocolate malt and nothing was off putting.
Taste: Similar to the aroma, but a bit watered down. Compared to the aroma, it was a bit of a disappointment.
Mouthfeel: Pretty smooth with crispness peeking in every now and again.
Drinkability: Pretty good, but be careful the 7% is well hidden.
Don't drink and review.

A: Dark amber with lots of ruby shining through, with a creamy off-ehite head.
S: Light nose of dark malts, caramel, and chocolate.
T: Sweet malts, earthy, bready, biscuity, chocolate, light roastedness, and hops on the finish.
M: Full and creamy with a clean but bready finish.
D: Nice full bodied doppel that could replace a meal. It went down easy and the 7% was not noticable.
This was my first Doppelbock on cask and it was a treat.
