Freshness: Unknown
Packaging: Draft
Glassware: Pilsner glass
Purchased: On tap at Rock Bottom, Denver Airport

A cloudy, straw yellow color. The small head leaves a good amount of lace.

Aromas are of citrus (lemon and orange), plus coriander and a light cereal maltiness.

Taste is fruity, with lemon and orange flavors. Lightly sweet and also tangy. The body is light with an average amount of carbonation. Finishes with a light amount of sweetness and bitterness.

Overall a refreshing brew, but it didn't seem very flavorful.

Rock Bottom Belgian White: On tap at the Rock Bottom in the Minneapolis airport. It’s hard to review a beer when you are drinking socially with a group, but this beer left a favorable impression, so let’s go for it. Clear amber body indicates that this is a filtered wheat. Not much of a head on this brew, and aroma has a good citrus fragrance to it. Pretty bold flavor for a Belgian white. Lots of malt comes though, with citrus and honey layered in giving a nice complexity overall. If you like Belgian style whitbeer, this is a good American twist on the style.

A- Pours a very very very light yellow. Fair amount of haze. Big white head lasts fairly well with a good bit of lacing.
S- The smell is lemony wheat with a prevailing bubblegummy aroma.
T- The bandaid/bubblegum flavor is a bit too strong. I'd like to see more spice or lemon. That comes through, but not as strong as it should be.
M- Relatively active carbonation. Sits a little more firm on the tongue than the average wit.
O- Nothing really technically wrong with this beer, but my subjective tastes just aren't high on the bubblegum/bandaid quality that is so prevelant in this one.

Really hazy cloudy, almost milky looking. Some nice lace. Weak retention.
Smells and tastes of a lemony citrus note with oranges and some spices.
The body is rather thick for the style... And feels oddly oily.
Overall; meh. Not a very good take on the style. It just misses the mark a bit for me, but isn't entirely undrinkable.

Beer on draft in Bethesda, MD. Beer is yellow light and hazy with a thin soft white head some carbonation and mild lacing.

Aroma is decent. Mildly grainy, mildly citrusy. It is ok.

Beer is thin and grainy. Not much in the way of flavor. There is a mild aftertaste. The overall beer is fine but it is just a unremarkable wit. I don't think I'd have it again.

On draft at Rock Bottom in Bethesda, MD.

The beer is a very hazy straw yellow with 1/2" head and a healthy amount of lacing on the glass. The aroma offers wheat, spice, banana. The flavor follows suit, with spices and fruit present throughout, particularly coriander and banana. The feel is medium bodied with zesty carbonation. A mild sweetness lingers in the finish. Overall, a decent brew. I would have it again.

This beer reminded me of a recent trip to Belgium with its cloudy yellow body and decent head. The beer smelled of soft citrus with hints of wheat in the background nothing overpowering here.

Taste is where I really enjoyed this beer- light carbonation with a nice finish of citrus behind its pleasant yeasty body. It was easy to drink with slight reminders of the beers I enjoyed while in Belgium. This is a beer I would recommend to anyone who is trying to diversify their taste pallet.

(Served in a snifter)
It was only served in a snifter becuase they poured the wrong beer.Typically it is poured in an American Pint glass.
A- This beer has a dense hazy lemon yellow body with a snow-white head that last for a few sips. There is an occasional bubble of carbonation that bops out to the edge of the glass where it can be seen gliding up the side to the head.

S- This beer has a soft wheat malt smell with a lemony perfume quality to it that soon overpowers the wheat notes when it warms.

T- The soft white wheat bread note has a club soda note to it that is pleasant followed by a floral yeasty quality. There is a lemony snap that is at the finish.

M- This beer has a medium mouthfeel with a soft carbonation fizz at the finish.

D- This is a well built wit beer and I would categorize it as a true Belgian Wit instead of another wheat beer fermented to warm with a hefe-weizen yeast. Which is all to common at many brewpubs I have sampled from.
