Note: I had this at the Denver/Park Meadows location... but it seems to fit all of the characteristics mentioned in the other reviewer. Recipe sharing? lol.
Appearance - Mahogany with ruby tones, off-white head that laces very well.
Smell - Incredibly sweet on the smell, Brown sugar, caramel, and light honey. Virtually no bitter on the nose.
Taste - Sweet to start as mentioned, gives way to a citric hop with a thick malty flavor.
Mouthfeel - Very slick and smooth.
Drinkability - This is incredibly easy drinking for a barleywine, and for being so high in ABV. Great beer, hopefully it'll be here again when I come back.
