A: Deep garnet color is almost black. Dense and firm tan head has good retention and leaves patches of lace.
S: I don't really smell raspberries in the nose, but the requisite chocolate and espresso are present.
T: Chocolate and coffee are out front. A burnt bitterness follows. The raspberry flavor is subtle. However, it adds a welcome sweetness that brings a touch of complexity that Rock Bottom's Tiny's Porter lacked.
M: Medium body is super silky and feels great in the mouth. The best part of the beer for my money.
D: A very nice one-off from Rock Bottom. Hopefully they will bring this one back.
