Creamy tiny bubbled lace that leaves several rings of lace down the glass. Dropped bright with a dark copper hue.
Fermented grain twang with a mellow and fruity malt aroma.
Slightly smooth and a bit creamy with a moderate body. Toasted and bready malt, mild hop bitterness and flavour and an indistinguishable fruitiness. Hint of yeast and a shot of astringent grain in the finish.
This tastes like their North Star Amber in a cask. A bit uninteresting to my standard for cask ale, not a brew I’d go back to but it was good to try it at least.
