A: Pale amber with mild carbonation and good clarity. Firm cream head has nice retention and leaves a generous amount of lace.
S: Slightly citrusy, with a toasted malt profile in the back.
T: Toasted malt flavors start things out with a dry baked biscuit quality. Hops come on with a moderate citrus bite. Bitterness level is about right for the style, but its grapefruit dominated flavor is perhaps too American. Finishes with a lingering citrus bitterness.
M: Medium light body feels smooth in the mouth. Carbonation level is about right.
D: Judged on its own merits, this is a nice little beer. It's light, refreshing and goes down easy. Flavor wise, it doesn't quite fit the prescribed style. This beer is really more of a light APA. That said, I did enjoyed it.
