Rock Bottom is a big supporter of American Beer Month, and this beer was brewed in conjunction with the event. Clear with a gold-bronze color and a nice cream colored head that held up fairly well. The aroma is quite peachy, possibly apricot, with a very light touch of citrus - obviously derived from a combination of strong fruity esters created during a warm fermentation and the use of citrusy hops like Cascade. Whether or not the high fruitiness was intended or not, it's enjoyable and quite unique. The mouthfeel is good and the flavor parallels the aroma with a big fruitiness backed by a good hop bitterness. It's very one-sided, but well balanced. Again, very unique, but the fruitiness becomes a bit too much towards the end of the pint. It has a long lasting, dry and hoppy finish with a lingering fruitiness. Memorable, but not overly drinkable.
